Kuhn retirement 'completely false'

“I am absolutely not retiring,” Edison Electric Institute President Tom Kuhn told Electricity Daily in an interview yesterday. “That is completely false, 180 degrees in the wrong direction.” Responding to rumors of his departure after 23 years as head of the Washington trade group for the investor-owned utilities, Kuhn said he has no plans of retiring “for the foreseeable future,” and that the EEI board recently reviewed the direction of the organization and was pleased with its performance. “I’m staying right here,” he said.
